The 'Golden Ratio Hunters' event took place on April 30, 2026, bringing together students and faculty members for a mathematical exploration of Karaman’s history. Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Kara and organized by the Mathematics Club, the group visited iconic sites including the İmaret and Aktekke Mosques, Hatuniye Madrasa, and the Tartan Mansion. The primary goal was to identify and photograph the underlying mathematical patterns and golden ratios within these architectural masterpieces.
A guided tour of the Karaman Museum also allowed participants to explore artifacts dating as far back as 5000 BC. We extend our sincere thanks to our Dean, Prof. Dr. Sedat PAK, for his support, and to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve KARA for her expert guidance in making this heritage-focused event a success.
