The Computer Programming program offers a two-year vocational education program covering the fundamentals of computer science and aims to train technicians (or support staff) needed by the information technology industry. Throughout the program, students take courses with up-to-date content in areas such as algorithm development, basic programming techniques, mobile application development, internet-integrated application development, graphics and design tools, networking, and system analysis and design, which are essential for software and hardware projects.   

The Computer Programming program is a two-year associate degree program consisting of four semesters, totaling 120 ECTS credits (30 ECTS per semester). Each semester follows a 14-week schedule. The program admits 60 students for the day program (regular education) and 45 students for the evening program (secondary education). Each student must complete a 30-working-day industry-based internship.

To train qualified individuals equipped with the scientific, technological, theoretical, and practical knowledge needed by the computer sector; who think critically (or globally), are innovative, participatory, possess broad horizons; who can connect current and emerging technologies; who demonstrate personal and social responsibility, and are capable of establishing and managing their own businesses when necessary; possessing professional competence and self-confidence.

To educate students aspiring to work in the field of informatics or seeking to develop their skills in this area. To train technical support staff equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the rapidly changing demands of the computer technology field.

The program aims to produce graduates who possess the knowledge required by technological advancements, can apply their skills effectively, are capable of developing algorithms, understand program development, are familiar with hardware, recognize and utilize network systems, are proficient in office and graphics software, have the problem-solving skills needed in their profession, can keep pace with evolving technological developments, and earn an associate degree.

Our department houses three computer laboratories. Each lab is equipped with 40 up-to-date computers. With a total of 120 computers, the department provides ample resources for hands-on, applied coursework.
