On June 6, 2026, the “Golden Ratio Hunters in Nature” event, jointly organized by the Mathematics, Data Science and Analytics, and Software Development Clubs of the Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science, was held under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Sürmen and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin Uzun.

Approximately 60 students and 10 faculty and administrative staff members, along with their families, participated in the event, which explored the mathematical mysteries of nature. Additionally, our faculty students enjoyed a fun time together during the event, which included refreshments. We would like to extend our gratitude to all participants, especially our student Emir Aktaş, who played a key role in organizing the event, and our faculty members who served as guides.
