Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University (KMU) Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Segah Öztaş Yıldız was invited to and participated as a speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM-2026), recognized as one of the most prestigious scientific events in the mathematics world.
The study presented at the congress was carried out with the contributions of KMU Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science, Department of Biology Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aytaç Kocabaş.
Approximately 3,000 scientists attended the congress, which was held in Philadelphia, USA, between July 23–30, 2026, bringing together the world's leading mathematicians.
In addition to current developments in the field of mathematics, interdisciplinary research conducted with various branches of science was also discussed at the event.
