Biography
Prof. Dr. Vikas Nanda is a Professor of Food Engineering & Technology and former Head of the Department of Food Engineering & Technology at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), India. He has over 29 years of academic and research experience in food science and technology, with particular expertise in honey authentication, bee products, food quality, and food processing. Prof. Nanda has supervised numerous postgraduate and doctoral students, published more than 90 research articles and five books, and currently holds an H-index of 39. He serves as Editor of the International Journal of Food Science (Wiley) and has received international recognition for his contributions to food technology and honey research, including serving as Co-Chairman of the International Honey Commission.

Biography
Dr. Hüseyin Arslan (IEEE Fellow, NAI Fellow, Member of Turkish Academy of Science) received his B.S. degree from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey in 1992, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas, TX, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. From 1998 to 2002, he worked with the research group at Ericsson. Between 2002 and 2022, Dr. Arslan was a faculty member in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of South Florida, where he served as a Professor. In 2013, he joined Istanbul Medipol University to establish the Engineering College and currently serves as the Dean of the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences. He has provided expert consulting for organizations such as Anritsu, Savronik, and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). Dr. Arslan was the founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of ULAK Communications, and served as a member of the TÜBİTAK Scientific Board. From 2021 to 2024, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Turkcell. His current research interests are on 6G and beyond radio access technologies, physical layer security, interference management, cognitive radio, multi-carrier wireless technologies, dynamic spectrum access, non-terrestrial communications, joint radar (sensing) and communication designs. He has collaborated extensively with global companies including InterDigital, NTT DoCoMo, Raytheon, Honeywell, ASELSAN, VESTEL, Turkcell, Anritsu, and Keysight Technologies. He also pioneered wireless education by developing innovative courses and the NSF-funded “Wireless Systems Laboratory.” He has served in numerous IEEE leadership roles and editorial boards.
