It is known that Karaman and Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey have an important place in the historical past of Turkish. For this reason, Karaman is called the “Capital of Turkish Language”. One of the oldest and largest languages in the world today, which number close to 3000, is our language, Turkish. Turkish, which is the fifth largest language in the world in terms of the number of speakers, is also the third largest language in the world in terms of the width of the area where its speakers live. The total number of words in Turkish; Anatolian Turkish, our other dialects, accents and accents exceed 200 thousand.
In today's world where globalization threatens all languages, research shows that 80% of the languages that exist today will be extinct by 2100.
