As a department, we attach great importance to the preservation of the mother tongue, which is a living cultural heritage. In this context, we work on the existence and importance of oral and written sources that provide culture and civilization. In addition to providing an aesthetic perspective to our students, we also aim to develop an original analysis ability regarding national and international literature.
Mission
The mission of the Turkish Language and Literature Department is to contribute to the aesthetic development of our students, as well as to prioritize intellectual productivity by honing their speaking and writing skills. In this context, by encouraging academic literacy, it is aimed to bring in scientists who think and approach events dialectically to the academic community.
